Today, India and Sri Lanka faced each other in Headingley, Leeds. ODI 44 of 48 is finalized now and it was a lucky day for team India. They have won the match by 7 wickets. India was a strong competition and they showed a true sportsmen spirit. Lasith Malinga got 1 wicket today and collected his 56th World Cup wicket in his final match in the tournament.

Rishabh Pant made 4 runs and Isuru Udana sent him back and got 1 wicket. In the 43.3 overs, India made 265/3. India is now sitting on the first position on the points table with 7 wins, 1 loss, and 15 points. They are going to play in the semifinals but on the other hand, world Cup journey ends for Sri Lankan team and they are out of semifinals race after playing this last match.
