They continued to lost wickets in which Rahmat on 35, Asghar on 42, and Mohammad Nabi on 16 runs were included. Najibullah took the team towards 200 runs but he was unable to score his half-century and made only 42 runs.
Shaheen Afridi played brilliantly and took two wickets on two balls only. Later on, he collected four wickets in the entire match. He became the first teenage bowler to collect 4 wickets in a match. It was tricky for the Afghan team to make a total of 227/9 but still, they managed. Wahab Riaz and Imad Waseem took two wickets each. Pakistan was playing very good from the last two matches but today, they were struggling. Shadab khan took 1 wicket in today’s match.
Pakistan took a slow start and in the starting, they lost their first wicket Fakhar Zaman at zero. Then Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq came on the pitch and they shared 72 runs in partnership. Imam was out at 36 runs and Babar at 45 runs by Nabi and he took two wickets today. Hafeez was also not able to stand at the pitch for longer and made only 19 runs. Mujeeb took his wicket 2 wickets today including Hafeez. Rashid Khan sent Haris back to the pavilion at 27 runs. Pakistan was besieged at 156/6 when Sarfaraz was out by making 18 runs only. Imad was just 1 run away from his half-century and made 49 runs.
Today, we saw a very interesting and thrilling match between these two teams. Fans enjoyed it a lot in the stadium and in front of their TV screens.
