Cricket World Cup 2019, ODI 35 of 48 is completed right now. It was a fascinating game between Sri Lanka VS South Africa. We predicted that the chance of Sri Lanka to win was higher. So, we all know that results are out now and today, South Africa has registered their 2nd victory in this world cup. They have won the match by 9 wickets when 76 balls were still left. What a marvelous victory. Now, they are positioned at the 8th position in the points table.

Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first where the bowlers gave a tough time to Sri Lankan tigers. The entire team was restricted to only 203 runs. The team took the worst start ever and Dimuth was run-out at zero by Rabada where he took total 2 wickets in today’s match.

Avishka Fernando and Kusal Perera gave a tough time to South African bowlers when they were playing at 50+ runs in the 8th over. But soon, Avishka was out and he made only 30 runs. Dwaine Pretorius took wickets of both of them. This was the point when things started going out of control for Sri Lankan team and they looked helpless.

South Africa took a nice start while they were chasing a decent score of 204 runs but soon Malinga took the wicket of Quinton de Kock in the 5th over. The decision of bowling first worked in favor of the South African team.

Malinga took one wicket only and others were unable to do so. Amla was also in action and scored his 39th ODI Half-century and a total of 80 runs. Plessis was near to score the century but he made 96 runs. He completed his 35th ODI Half-century today. It was the first time when South African players reached the score of more than 70 runs.

Regardless, what the results are, the world saw that both teams put their best efforts to win the game. It was a worth-watching game between these two teams. The crews were in the fighting mode and they gave a tough team to each other.

Today, it was a blessed timing for team South Africa. Sri Lanka has to play their next games against India and West Indies. They still have the chance to qualify in the semifinals but South Africa is already out of this race.

The followers of the winning team are looking forward to winning the next game against Australia too. On the other hand, losing team is feeling low.

Now, tomorrow on 29 June 2019, Saturday, two games will be played wherein the first match; Pakistan and Afghanistan will be going to fight for the victory. In the second match, Australia and New Zealand will face each other. We have to see who will win in both matches.
